and inspired we were! Our host bol.com provided us useful insights about Customer Centricity… and they also revealed a scoop: on Tuesday the 24th of February (the day after our event) they launched a webshop dedicated to bags: www.bol.com/tassen For this webshop they work together with small & big stores like for example Torfs and So Baggy to guarantee a wide range of items.

- make sure you have a unique product
- good stock management is important
- protect your offer cause others will copy it (even your advertising texts)
Into jewellery? So is Dorien from Luxedy! When you are selling a product that numerous other webshops also sell you need to differentiate in other ways. A personalized service can be your USP, but never stop innovating and regularly try & experiment with new ideas. Dorien just launched Luxedy@home for example. How to turn clicks into chicks? Last but not least was Sarah from Hello My Dear who together with another female entrepreneur Karolien launched a platform to create beautiful ‘life’ stories and collect your milestone moments online! A very important tip from Sarah: don’t ask friends & family for feedback! They will always support you, and tell you that you are doing a great job, just because they love you and think that everything you do is great. Ask a stranger if you want genuine insights to improve your product or service
Oh and don’t underestimate the workload, that’s something that all our speakers indicated: it takes a lot of hard work to have a webshop, so make sure you’re doing it for the right reasons and with a lot of passion and you’ll succeed
